In short:
- We only ask for data if you sign in (name, email and picture from your Google account).
- We store your study progress so you have it on any device.
- We do not sell your data and we show no advertising.
- You can delete your account and all your data from within the app.
At RoutingLab ("the app", "we") we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we process, for what purpose, and what your rights are. By using the app you accept what is described here.
1. Data controller

2. What data we process
a) If you sign in with Google (optional)
- Your name, email address, profile picture and user identifier, through Firebase Authentication (Google).
b) Study progress
- The lessons you complete and the date you started your trial, to sync your progress across devices, stored in Firebase Firestore (Google).
- If you do not sign in, your progress is stored only on your device and never leaves it.
c) Settings and local usage
- Preferences (theme, text size, daily goal, streak, notes and bookmarks), stored on your device.
d) Notifications
- If you enable them, we use the notification permission solely to send you your daily study reminder. You can turn them off whenever you like.
e) Subscriptions
- Billing is handled by Google Play. We neither receive nor store your card or payment details.
- We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is still active: it receives an identifier for your installation and the purchase details.
f) Crash diagnostics
- If the app closes unexpectedly, Firebase Crashlytics sends us a technical report (device model, Android version, where the crash happened and installation identifiers) so we can fix it.
g) App usage
- Firebase Analytics collects usage statistics and installation identifiers (which screens are opened, events such as finishing a test or switching language) to help us understand what works and improve it.
You can turn this off. Sections f) and g) are optional: switch off
"Share anonymous usage" in Settings → Privacy inside the app and we will
stop receiving both crash reports and usage statistics. The rest of the app carries on working
exactly the same.
We show no advertising and we do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Purpose and legal basis
- Providing the service and saving your progress (performance of the service you request).
- Syncing your progress across devices (with your consent when signing in).
- Sending you reminders (only if you enable notifications: consent).
- Diagnosing and improving the app (legitimate interest in it working correctly).
4. Third parties processing data on our behalf
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics and Analytics) — identity, progress, crash diagnostics and usage statistics. Firebase privacy.
- RevenueCat, Inc. — validating your subscription status. RevenueCat privacy.
- Google Play — app distribution and subscription billing. Google privacy.
5. Retention
We keep your progress for as long as you keep your account. If you delete your account or ask us to, we erase your data from the cloud.
6. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to us at soporte@routinglab.es.
Deleting your account: you can do it yourself in the app from
Settings → Account → Delete account. Your account and your cloud-stored progress will be erased.
You can also ask us by email.

If you live in the European Union, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
7. Children
The app is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The new version will be published on this page with its update date.
